Play Viking Escape online for free. Viking Escape is a timed shooting game where you must dodge and shoot down as many goblins as you can while trying to flee the forest on a dragon. Collect ammo, coins, and gems and last until the timer runs out. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Select the green play button to enter the welcome screen.
On the welcome screen, select the play button at the center to begin.
Learn more about the various enemies by selecting the information button on the bottom left corner.
Enlarge the screen by selecting the full screen button on the bottom left corner.
Use the music and sound buttons on the bottom right to toggle the game’s background music and sound effects, respectively.
Your web browser automatically saves your cumulative score.
Game Controls

    - Use the spacebar to launch your ammunition.
    - With your mouse, left click on the ammunition button on the lower left to switch ammunition types.
    - Touchscreen devices
      - Tap the following on the screen with your fingers:
        Use the arrow buttons on the bottom left corner to move left and right.
        To fire, select the fire button on the bottom right.
        Use the arrow buttons on the bottom right corner to move up and down.
        To switch ammunition, select the ammunition button on the lower left corner.
        Game Play
        Basic
        Attack as many enemies as you can until the timer runs out..
        You have a limited amount of various ammunition types to attack incoming enemies. Make each shot count.
        Avoid making contact with enemies or getting hit by their own shots.
        Collect coins and extra ammunition.
        Ammunition
        You have 7 kinds of ammunition and your dragon’s breath.
        With the exception of dragon breath, your ammunition has a limit.
        Conserving your ammunition is a key part of long-term survival.
        Find ways to increase the effectiveness of your shots to maximize the number of enemies slain by them.
        Attack from as far away as you can.
        Work fast to switch between types of ammo.
        Some ammunition types are more effective against certain types of enemy.
        Using the wrong kind of ammunition against a specific enemy is wasteful.
        If you don’t have time to switch ammo, see if you can dodge the enemy instead.
        Collect labeled boxes across the level to replenish your ammunition.
        If you run out of ammunition, your only recourse is to rely on your dragon’s fire breath.
        This is the least effective weapon available.
        It can help tide you over until you find a box of ammunition.
        Hit points and dying
        Enemies will try to attack you if they get close.
        Some strike with melee damage.
        Others rely on shooting you down with arrows or bullets.
        All enemies causes damage to you the moment they make contact.
        You can also be harmed by fixed, indestructible obstacles like spikes, pendulums, and flamethrowers.
        You have a limited number of hit points. Lose all your hit points and you die.
        You’re more likely to lose lives from getting too close to enemies.
        Select the information button on the welcome screen to learn more about the game’s monsters and the best ways to defeat them.
        Often, it’s better to dodge enemies that are too close than to attempt to finish them off.
        To kill enemies effectively, attack them from a distance.
        Once you run out of hit points, it’s game over.
        You can replenish at some of your hit points by collecting a box with a potion on it.
        Collectibles
        Along the way, you can pick up various objects such as coins, gems, and boxes.
        Coins and gems
        They add to your final score at the end of the game.
        Collect them whenever you can to bolster your cumulative score.
        Boxes
        Various boxes with pictures on them appear at random parts of the level.
        Most boxes that will appear will replenish your supply of ammunition.
        Other boxes are labeled with clocks or potions:
        Clock box will extend your playing time.
        Potion caches will replenish your hit points.
        Scoring
        Each enemy has their own point value and hit points.
        Refer to the in-game information to learn more about the monsters and their point value.
        The more enemies you kill, the more points you gain.
        You can also gain points by collecting coins, gems, and boxes.
        Tips
        Move fast if you want to have the best ammunition for the job at any given time.
        Pay attention to where the enemies are coming from.
        If the enemies are coming from the same direction, you can shoot several of them at once.
        This can help you save on ammunition.
        Collect ammunition and other caches whenever you can.
        Whenever possible, prioritize them over coins and gems: caches help you extend your play time.
        Don’t needlessly endanger yourself to collect them, though, unless you need to (e.g. when you’re out of bullets or hit points).
