Slime is a difficult retro pixelated level escape platformer game where you help an adventurous slime avoid enemies & other dangers, collect coins & keys, and make its way through the portal exit. Starting the Game

Select the start button in the center of the game’s welcome screen to go to the level select screen.
- Initially only the first level is unlocked.
- You unlock a level each time you beat one.
- Your web browser automatically saves your game progress including which levels you have beat and how many coins you collected on each.

      - Press the W or up arrow key to jump.
      - Touchscreen devices
        Tap the screen to jump.
        Drag your finger left or right to move left or right.
        This game is already brutally difficult on desktop devices & it is even harder on touchscreen devices.
        Controls & indicators
        If the level has keys you must collect the number of keys you obtained and the number you must collect are shown in the upper left corner of the game.
        The upper right corner of the game has two buttons for restarting the level and going to the level select screen.
        The level select screen shows which levels are unlocked by making their buttons dark green & shows how many coins you earned from each under them.
        Game Play
        Levels
        This game has 10 levels.
        Each level is unlocked sequentially.
        You can earn up to a 3-coin rating on each stage.
        Once a stage is unlocked you can replay it at any time to try to improve your coin rating on it.
        Dying
        As a piece of slime you can fall a long way without dying, however if you run into any enemies or anything sharp you die.
        This game offers a one-hit death.
        You get unlimited continues, but when you continue you start back at the beginning of the level you are on and need to once again collect any coins or keys you missed.
        Tips
        This game has tight clearances where sometimes you must time jumps with precision to barely clear a moving enemy or jump right before you fall off a platform to not hit your head on the ceiling.
        Sometimes these ridiculously tight clearances are layered two or three in a row, giving this game a masochistic feel.
        There are areas of the game where there are small gaps between platforms where you must run across rather than jump, as you’d hit your head then fall if you tried jumping.
        Try to minimize how many times you need to retrace a portion of the level by getting as many items in an area as you can so you do not have to go back.
        Sometimes rather than jumping off platform to grab something slightly to the side you can stand at the edge of the platform and jump straight up.
        If you need to make a jump where you must fall through a gap you can in some cases overjump to use a ledge to guide you downward then continue moving to the side when you get to a gap in that wall.
        While this game only has 10 levels a person could die thousands of times trying to beat it, so you must have a lot of patience.
        Target Audience
        The game is suited for players who like simple platform jumper escape games.
        The game has no adult themed content.
